    House Facts

    • Our house, located at 3 Maiden Lane, sits in Raleigh's Maiden Lane Historic District, added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
    • The land was originally sold to a Frank Brown (a cashier at Raleigh Savings Bank and Trust Co.) and his wife, Mildred Yates (daughter of Robert E. Lee Yates of Yates Mill fame), in 1922 and the present house, a two-story Colonial Revival, was built in 1923.

  • Organization Facts

    • Delta Upsilon International Fraternity was founded on November 4, 1834 at Williams College in Williamstown, MA.
    • The founding date marks DU as the sixth oldest general collegiate fraternity.
    • It also makes Delta Upsilon North America's first (and, to this day, largest) non-secret fraternity.
    • We enjoy a wide breadth of membership spanning over 75 chapters in 13 districts in the United States and Canada with several more chapters in the process of colonization.
