Scholarship

  • As a prospective brother of Delta Upsilon, you'll soon realize that an education at NC State is not something we take lightly. While the core ideals of a social fraternity include brotherhood and friendship, at DU we believe that these ideals also include a commitment to bettering yourself as a man. This promise to improve yourself does not only refer to the development of your character; it also speaks to your scholastic endeavors here in college and beyond. First and foremost, we're all here to get a degree. At DU, we don't argue with that fact - we just like to have some fun along the way.

With brothers majoring in everything from Business to Biochemistry, you're sure to find a study partner when you need a little help in your classes. The House Library is a great place for tutoring or preparing for your next exam. Any way you swing it, your brothers will be, and should be, great friends and great resources throughout your educational career here at State.

    A Commitment to Scholarship

Our North Carolina State Delta Upsilon Alumni reward young men who join Delta Upsilon while attending NC State University with monetary reimbursement of fees for joining scholar fraternities and/or honor societies. • Delta Upsilon's Enrichment Opportunities

Being a member of Delta Upsilon extends your benefits beyond the North Carolina State campus. The Fraternity offers enriching educational opportunities that will strengthen understanding and foster further implementation of the Four Founding Principles while preparing brothers for a more global and service oriented society.

    Leadership Institute (LI)

The Leadership Institute is the most powerful program sponsored by Delta Upsilon. Held each summer in a varying location, this event allows undergraduate members and alumni to interact, share ideas, and learn how to create a better fraternity experience. The Undergraduate Convention and Assembly of Trustees introduces legislation and votes on policies of the Fraternity.

    DUEL Experience

The Delta Upsilon Emerging Leaders Experience is a three-day program uniquely designed to help young leaders be ready to meet the challenges and responsibilities of life and in their chapter. Each participant will develop his unique leadership strengths, and understand the shared-values and vision of a chapter leader. He will gain an understanding of the historical roots of Delta Upsilon and learn how to collaborate and effectively lead through courage and conversation.

    Regional Leadership Seminar

This seminar allows chapters from their respective provinces to gather to share ideas and build a stronger community during the three day program.

Many other educational and leadership-building opportunities are also available to our members. Visit Delta Upsilon International's Programs Overview for more info.
